[June 15th 2008] On June 29th, Roller Montreal will join the VRL club. They organize an outing on "Le petit train du nord". VRL still have room for 17 passengers in their bus. Leaving from the récréathèque in Laval at 6h30 for Mont-Laurier. You will be skating from Mont-Laurier to Labelle and the bus will pick you up there. 94km ride, The bus ride cost 30$ for Non VRL members.

[June 8th 2008]  Tomorrow Tuesday, Because the GV is still closed, I suggest that we meet at the 200m track for 18h00.

Last week I was in Toronto, and the TISC meet on a ring like this one and recreational and speed skater have a lot of fun together! Bring your running shoes. I'll do a dry land workout between 6 and 6h30.

Thursday May 8th, we'll go on the cycling path along the St-Laurent River. Back and forth from the Canadian Tire to the Rene-Levesque Park.

[April 26st, 2008]  The Sunday’s outing (April 27th) is planned to be a 40 km ride.  We’ll start from St-Lambert ring to go in direction of Chambly.  We’ll do an urban skate via Alexandra, Churchill and Edouard road to finally get onto the cycling path.   We’ll stop for a bite in Chambly (plan money or a card).

[April 21st, 2008]   Hello everyone, this Tuesday 6 PM is our first Roller Montreal outing, we meet at the usual place corner of De la Commune and Nazareth Street in the Old Port of Montreal. We will skate toward the circuit Gilles-Villeneuve.

[April 15th, 2008]  Here's the info for this coming Friday April 18th Season 2008 opening night 6:30pm  of Roller-Montreal that will be held at la Salle La Verdunnoise du Centre Marcel-Giroux in Verdun, 4501 Bannantyne street in Verdun. For this occasion IL Peloton and ZtSports will be on site displaying their new stuff: speed skate, frames, bearings, wheels, gears etc.. Pizza will be offered to everyone's on site. Also registration to the club for 2008 season, you are invited to write a check of $45 to Roller-Montreal and printing this page http://www.roller-montreal.com/html/inscrire.htm  .

I'm asking you for confirmation until Thursday night, and how many people you will bring so that i can order the right amount of pizza.

[April 13th, 2008]   Congratulation to Youri Juteau for his 3rd position at the 21km of Minto Run for Reach in Ottawa today. Mélanie Dumont finished 23rd, 6 minutes before Simon Clément (24). Pierre Roy finished 40.

[April 11th, 2008]   The 2008 Roller-Montreal season will start very shortly. We will launch that season with our traditional opening party. Make sure you put April 18th to your agenda. We are still looking for a place to meet. Be posted for more info.

[August 3, 2007]   24H: added to the official photos, videos et results available since some time now on the 24 Hour Inline Montreal website, here's a bunch of photos of the event coming from other sources.

[July 8, 2007]   24H: the final countdown to the 24h Inline Montreal is on. Less than week before the big event, check the 24h website to read the recent infos. Forum: after being down, slow and buggy for a period of time, the forum seems to be back in good shape.

[June 27, 2007]   Partner: Il Peloton, a Roller-Montreal partner will be at the circuit Gilles-Villeneuve next July 3 between 19h00 and 21h00 for club members. They will be at exactly the same place as last time. If anybody want special equipment for the 24h Inline Montreal, please write directly to stephane.tremblay@rogers.com. They will have only pre-ordered products and regular high range material like wheels, bearings and skinsuits.

[May 25, 2007]   Your webmaster is now officially a father, Émeric the youngest future club member is going well as well as his mother. Selections: the selections for the Panamerican games where held last May 19 and 20 during the Ontario Outdoor Speed provincial Championships. Brian Jalbert and Martine Charbonneau showed both strong performances. They will integrate the canadian team as sprinters along with Ontarian skaters Peter Doucet and Sarah Hopkins. Morgane Echardour (aka the new improved Momo) took part also in the qualification and she performed well espescially in long distance events, as a result she became the female reserve athlete. Congratulation to all these skaters.

[May 13, 2007]   Some news from our partner SEB: the company is now formed of an association between Brian Jalbert and Sébastien Houle. The complete details are on their new website. She went to Mexico to start her inline season with five other skaters from the Ottawa inline skating club.

[May 6, 2007]   IL Peloton, a new club partner from Ottawa is offering equipment at discount price to club members. They will be at the circuit Gilles-Villeneuve next tuesday May 8 to present their new stuff. Skating: Our regular Tuesday/Thursday skates are starting officially, the first being Tuesday May 8 at 6 pm at the usual place.

[May 1, 2007]   This last sunday again bad weather cancelled our inter club outing at Granby, hopefully soon we hope we will catch a sunny sunday... Meanwhile the 2007 members list has been updated.

[April 28, 2007]   The 2007 calendar of events is now online, e-mail me if you want to lead a sunday outing.

[April 19, 2007]   Our first official sunday outing will be on April 29th at Granby on L'Estriade (if the temperature allows it). We will skate with our sisters club Stamina, Roller Quebec and Roller Estrie. Click here for the directions. If you need or can offer transportation, see the corresponding subject on the forum.

[April 9, 2007]   This season opening night: the 2007 season opening night will be held next friday the 13th at 19h00 at Netvention 20 Queen street on the 3rd floor in the old port of Montreal like last year. We will have a skating equipment exhibitor on site with good prices. We will also have pizza, chips, vegetable dip and beverages: beer, wine and juice. Everyone is welcomed! This night will be an opportunity to gather old and new members and also to pay for your club registration. Confirm your presence to Charles by email if you have not confirmed yet.
